The Carper Retaining Sling has been designed with fish care in mind.

Boasting an all-mesh construction, this retaining sling optimises water exchange, allowing carp to recover quickly and safely with minimal stress. The full-mesh design also ensures water drains efficiently during weighing, giving faster and more accurate readings and in turn allowing the carp to be returned to the water sooner.

The sling benefits from four buoyant floats and features extra-strong aluminium bars that ensure even the largest carp is fully supported. The bars are a two-piece design so the sling is super-compact and can be comfortably stored inside most carryalls and rod holdalls.

The zips have been designed to open and close effortlessly and we’ve even added a zipper clip that allows you to lock the zips shut so there’s no chance the carp can escape. 

We’ve opted for a longer than average chord to ensure you can always retain the fish in deepest water in your swim and there’s even an external pocket to hold it neatly.

The sling is supplied with a waterproof carry bag that utilises a roll-top design to ensure water leakage and unpleasant smells are contained.
