Our Mag-Tec bobbins feature a spring-loaded ball-bearing that pushes against an internal magnet, creating a line clip that achieves perfect grip even in extreme conditions, yet still allows your line to release when you pick up and strike the rod.

The blue, green, red and purple heads are all made from a super-strong hi-viz acrylic material and feature a hollow center, allowing you to add an isotope when fishing overnight.

The white head is made from solid PTFE material and features a machined groove on the outside of the bobbin to hold an isotope.

The bobbin is supplied with a removable 7g add-on weight. Without the weight, the bobbin is perfect for most fishing situations when fishing short to medium range. If you need to fish with a tight line, when fishing at range, or if the wind picks up, you can simply attach the add-on weight to transform the bobbin.
